UnitedHealth Reveals Operational Cash Flow Forecasts for 2025 Below Expectations
MINNETONKA, MN - UnitedHealth Group (NYSE:UNH), a diversified healthcare company, announced its financial targets for 2025 ahead of the annual Investor Conference scheduled for Sunday. The company projects significant growth over the next few years, setting revenue estimates between $450 billion and $455 billion.
The company's guidance also forecasts net earnings per share between $28.15 and $28.65, and adjusted net earnings per share, excluding certain expenses, to be between $29.50 and $30.00. These adjusted figures do not include tax-affected cash-based amortization expenses related to acquisition intangible assets.
In terms of cash flow, UnitedHealth Group expects to generate between $32 billion and $33 billion in cash from operations. This outlook diverges slightly from analyst estimates, which predict an operational cash flow of approximately $33.77 billion.
Looking back a year, the company's net earnings per share for 2024 are projected to be between $15.50 and $15.75, with adjusted net earnings per share expected to range from $27.50 to $27.75. These figures were initially announced during the third-quarter earnings report.
