Bloomberg HT Consumer Confidence Index Rose by 4.72% in November

Forex - The Bloomberg HT Consumer Confidence Preliminary Index increased by 4.72% in the first half of November compared to the final index of the previous month, reaching a value of 71.89, the highest level of this year.

The report stated: "Looking at the details of the index, a decline is observed in consumers' perception of their current personal situation and their expectations for the next 12 months, while an improvement is noted in the Turkish economy's outlook for the next 12 months and consumption trends. The rise in consumption trends continues to be the main reason for the increase in consumer confidence. In this context, the Bloomberg HT Consumer Expectations Preliminary Index rose by 3.12% compared to the previous month, reaching a value of 65.55. Expectations continue to fluctuate. On the other hand, the Bloomberg HT Consumption Trends Preliminary Index, which aims to measure the suitability for the purchase of durable goods, automobiles, and housing in the current period, also increased by 13.02%, reaching a value of 82.16. The persistent increase in consumption trends in recent months raises the possibility that the expected slowdown in domestic demand in the fight against inflation may not be sufficiently strong."
