Italian Energy Giant Enel to Invest €43 Billion by 2027
Italian energy giant Enel has announced plans to invest €43 billion over the next three years, of which €26 billion will be allocated to electricity networks and €12 billion to renewable projects. The state-controlled group previously indicated in its 2024-2026 business plan that its total investments, including grants, would amount to €35.8 billion. Enel has promised to increase investor returns by setting a fixed minimum dividend of €0.46 per share, up from the previously stated €0.43.
