The Environmental Impact Assessment Process Has Begun for the Limestone Quarry and Crushing-Sorting Facility Project Planned by Konya Cement

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process has begun for the Limestone Quarry and Crushing-Sieving Facility project planned by Konya Cement (IS:KONYA).

An announcement on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permit and Inspection provided the following information:

"The Environmental Impact Assessment file submitted to our Governorship of KONYA regarding the Limestone Quarry and Crushing-Sieving Facility project with License Number 91312, which is planned to be carried out by KONYA CEMENT INDUSTRY INC. in the area with Access Number 3484523 located in the ILGIN district of KONYA province, has been reviewed in accordance with Article 16 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation, and the EIA Process related to the project has begun."
