THY Teknik Signs Maintenance Agreements with Component Pool

Turkey's flag carrier, Turkish Airlines (IS:THYAO) Technical A.Ş., a leader in the global aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sector, has strengthened its long-standing collaboration with SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, by signing two significant agreements.

According to the component support agreement, SunExpress will have access to Turkish Airlines Technical A.Ş.'s extensive component inventory and comprehensive maintenance capabilities for five years. This service will cover both Boeing 737NG and Boeing 737MAX fleets, providing optimal availability of components to minimize the time aircraft spend on the ground.

The other agreement includes landing gear maintenance, repair operations, and spare part provision for SunExpress's Boeing 737NG fleet. With these comprehensive agreements, Turkish Airlines Technical A.Ş. supports SunExpress's operational continuity and fleet readiness, while further enhancing SunExpress's capability to provide timely and reliable services to its customers.
