BIST 100 Kicks Off the Day Flat: Which Stocks Took the Lead at Opening?
The BIST 100 started the day with limited changes at 9,004.6 points.
The BIST 100 index rose to 9,051 points during the first hour but then pulled back, continuing to move around the 9,000-point threshold. The BIST 100 gained 0.68% in yesterday's trading, extending its positive daily closing streak to four days.
In the morning session of Borsa Istanbul, the insurance, communication, and sports sectors emerged as the biggest gainers. The factoring, textile, SME, and paper sectors were among those that started the day in negative territory. Banks showed a calm performance during the first hour but continued with a slight increase. The holding sector, on the other hand, experienced a partial decline.

In Borsa Istanbul as a whole, BRKVY, ISGSY, and PKENT stocks reached the ceiling price and continued to be the biggest gainers. IHAAS, TSGYO, and DNISI, on the other hand, are the stocks that have declined the most in the first hour. EREGL, THYAO, and AKBNK stocks recorded the highest trading volume during the morning hours.
In the domestic currency market, the dollar/TL continues to move horizontally at 34.25. Euro/TL is trading at 37.27 with a partial increase of 0.1%, while gold per gram is finding buyers at 3,060 TL with a decrease of 0.035%.
In international markets, a mixed outlook is observed in Asia. European indices started the day in the red. U.S. and European futures indices are also experiencing a bearish movement in the morning hours.
