Continuing our commitment to unlimited service understanding Yapı Kredi's CEO Gökhan Erün emphasized that with their approach focused on unlimited service, they have nearly reached 16.5 million active customers and are continuously creating value for the national economy. He stated: “In the past nine months, our market share in Turkish lira loans among private banks was 16.3%, while our share in Turkish lira customer deposits was 13.9%. With our cash loan volume reaching 1.2 trillion lira, we captured a market share of 15.4% among private banks, and with our total customer deposit volume of 1.3 trillion lira, our market share amounted to 14% among private banks. As we enter the last quarter of the year, we will continue to lift boundaries and add value to every aspect of life with our customer-centric service understanding.”

We have once again reaffirmed our trust in the national economy Gökhan Erün mentioned that they continue to diversify financing sources through international transactions to contribute to the national economy. “In September, we successfully issued eurobonds worth 500 million dollars in international markets. This successful transaction, with a maturity of 5 years and 1 month, received approximately four times the demand from foreign investors. In addition to this proud achievement, our total overseas borrowing amount has reached 7 billion dollars since September 2023. This success is a significant indicator of both the trust in our country's economy and in our bank,” he noted.

We have brought our quality service understanding to Germany Gökhan Erün announced the opening of Yapı Kredi Germany, marking another step into the international arena. “Following Azerbaijan and the Netherlands, Yapı Kredi Germany has become our third subsidiary beyond our country's borders. With Yapı Kredi Germany, we will serve as a robust solution partner for companies engaged in import and export between our two nations, in addition to our banking services in Germany, one of the key stakeholders of our country's economy. Guided by the vision of our main shareholder Koç Holding, we will continue to advance steadily and remain one step ahead in Germany,” he explained.

We strongly support the entrepreneurial ecosystem Gökhan Erün expressed that they have further advanced their contributions to the entrepreneurial ecosystem. “With the launch of the Yapı Kredi FRWRD First Venture Capital Investment Fund in the third quarter of the year, we have strengthened our support for the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Through this fund, which connects entrepreneurs with investors, we have begun facilitating various opportunities for both investors to invest in startup companies and for startups to find investment. Managed by the experienced experts of Yapı Kredi Portfolio, this fund focuses on ventures that have defined their customer profile, supports initiatives in the ecosystem, and contributes to the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Additionally, through our FRWRD programs organized both in our country and globally, we continue to make significant contributions to the entrepreneurial ecosystem,” he stated.

We work for the development of our country in every area Gökhan Erün emphasized that they have been continuously contributing to Turkey’s cultural and social development for 80 years. “Since our inception, we have been working sustainably to create long-term value in every field. We view the value we create not only in economic terms but also as a social impact. From the Yapı Kredi Afife Theatre Awards to our initiatives as Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts, from our Sustainable Preference Program, Step, to our ‘Yarınlara Kartopu’ project, this vision is at the heart of all our efforts. The number of participants in our Step program, with which we accompany transformations towards sustainability, has reached 1.1 million. Additionally, we are determined to meet our goal of educating 80,000 women through the Technology Opportunity Equality program initiated under the leadership of Koç Holding to strengthen women’s presence in the technology sector. Moreover, to contribute to the development of social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills of children aged 0-6, we continue to work with full force in our ‘Yarınlara Kartopu’ project initiated in celebration of our Republic's 100th anniversary, both in our branches and in the field. So far, 160,000 families have been included in the program,” he concluded.
