Booking Holdings' Revenue Climbs 9% to $8 Billion in Q3
Forex - Booking Holdings announced that its revenue for the third quarter of the 2024 fiscal year reached $8 billion, an increase of 9% compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The American travel company reported an 8% rise in booked room nights compared to the previous year, while gross travel bookings rose to $43.4 billion, marking a 9% increase from the same period last year. Net income remained at the same level as $2.5 billion in the same quarter of 2023, while diluted earnings per share (EPS) increased by 7% year-over-year to $74.34. CEO Glenn Fogel expressed, "In the third quarter, we are pleased to report an 8% growth in room nights that exceeded our previous expectations, particularly driven by stronger performance in Europe. We are continuing to make progress on our strategic initiatives while enhancing cost efficiency, which I believe will position our company well in the long term."
