Halkbank Wins 18 Awards at the Stevie Awards
The Gala event of the International Business Awards, regarded as one of the most prestigious business awards in the world, was held in Istanbul. Turkish companies, which won a total of 214 awards, made a significant impact at the event.
The International Business Awards (IBA), one of the 9 programs under the Stevie® Awards, was held for the 21st time this year. The gala event, which took place on October 11, brought together successful individuals and institutions from around the world in Istanbul, highlighting extraordinary performances in the global business community. Over 450 attendees participated, and awards were presented to 130 organizations from all over the globe.
Known as the "Olympics of the business world," this year's IBA recognized the most successful names of 2024 selected from among more than 3,600 nominees from 62 countries and regions. Winners of Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie® Awards across categories such as management, customer service, human resources, marketing, and technology were determined by an elite jury composed of over 300 executives. Since this year's ceremony was held in Turkey, many successful Turkish organizations attended the gala and were among the award recipients.

Halkbank received 18 awards
Turkish companies made a strong mark at the 21st Annual International Business Awards®. Halkbank (IS:HALKB), noted for its innovations in banking, digital transformation, and excellence in customer service, stood out during the awards ceremony by winning 18 awards, including 11 Gold, 5 Silver, and 2 Bronze. The jury commented on one of Halkbank's projects, "It demonstrates leadership with a program that enables more women to join the workforce and creates equal opportunities."
Atos Turkey IT & Consulting, Atos Customer Services, and AgeSA collectively won a total of 10 Stevie® Awards. The jury members praised Atos Türkiye, a leading systems integrator and service provider offering innovative IT services in managed services, BPO, consulting, systems integration, big data, and security fields, stating, "It shows strategic excellence with extraordinary international expansion, seamless relocation, impressive growth, and maintained service quality under challenging conditions."
SOCAR Turkey was also among the award recipients
Istanbul-based pladis achieved significant success by winning 7 Stevie Awards. With a strong focus on its employees in all its applications and placing great importance on training for white and blue collar workers in its factories, pladis received awards in categories for educational technology solutions, human resources, and business technology solutions.
With investments exceeding $18 billion, SOCAR Turkey stands out as one of the country's largest integrated industries and the biggest foreign investor, winning a total of 5 Stevie Awards in categories such as business technology solutions and company of the year — energy, financial success.
Among those winning multiple Stevie Awards are Belbim, Borusan, CarrefourSA (IS:CRFSA), and Watsons Turkey from Turkey, alongside Cathay Financial Holdings Co., Ltd. from Taipei City, Taiwan, Cathay United Bank from New York, Condé Nast from the UK, HCLSoftware from the UK, Mang Inasal and DDB Philippines from the Philippines, Monlove and Telus from Canada, Saudi Aramco (TADAWUL:2222) from Saudi Arabia, Sandoz (SIX:SDZ) AG from Switzerland, and Vanderbilt University from the United States.
