Household Inflation Expectations Decline

Forex - The household's annual inflation expectation for 12 months ahead decreased in October.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) published the results of the "Sectoral Inflation Expectations" survey.

According to the statement from the CBRT, in October, the annual inflation expectations for 12 months ahead decreased by 0.1 points to 27.4% for market participants, by 1.6 points to 49.5% for the real sector, and by 4.4 points to 67.2% for households.

The proportion of households expecting inflation to decrease over the next 12 months fell by 0.7 points compared to the previous month, reaching 28.3%.
