Erdoğan: The Improvement in Our Economy's Key Indicators Continues Uninterrupted

Forex - President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated, "Despite all the uncertainties in the global economy, the increasing conflicts and tensions in our region, and the pessimistic scenarios drawn for the future, the improvement in the fundamental indicators of our economy continues uninterrupted."

Erdoğan made a press statement following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting held at the Presidential Complex.

In his remarks on the topics discussed during the meeting, President Erdoğan said, "We came together with representatives of our business world at the 51st General Assembly of the Turkey Metal Industry Employers' Union, which is celebrating its 61st anniversary this year. Seeing the support of our business world for our economic policy has further motivated us. It has reinforced our belief. Despite all the uncertainties in the global economy, the increasing conflicts and tensions in our region, and the pessimistic scenarios drawn for the future, the improvement in the fundamental indicators of our economy continues uninterrupted. There is a visible increase in every area, from our Central Bank's reserves to exports, from tourist numbers to employment. A decrease in inflation, which has been a headache for our country alongside the rest of the world, has started, including in Europe and America. The excessive price bubble has disappeared and is disappearing in key sectors. Hopefully, this will continue. We will not allow anyone to cast an eye on our citizens' lawful earnings."
