Headline: Eurozone Bank Lending Continues Its Steady Recovery

According to ECB data, bank lending in the Eurozone continued to recover last month, indicating that the impact of the high European Central Bank interest rates has begun to wane, even though absolute credit levels remain modest. The ECB reported that loans to Eurozone companies increased by 1.1% in September, the highest rate since mid-2023, while loans to households rose by 0.7%, reaching the highest level since last October. The M3 money supply expanded by 3.2%, surpassing expectations of 3.0%.
