Headline: Apple Set to Unveil New Macs with M4 Chip This Monday

Greg Joswiak, Apple's Senior Vice President of Marketing, announced on the X platform that new M4 Macs will be unveiled on Monday. Previously, there were speculations about a special Apple event for Mac, but it hadn't been officially confirmed.

M4 MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, and 24-inch iMac to Launch

A series of new M4 chip Macs are expected to be introduced next week. These models will include the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, a redesigned Mac mini, and a new 24-inch iMac. All Macs will be powered by different variants of the M4 chip. As indicated in the shared post, there will be no special event for these devices; instead, Apple will announce the new Macs through a press release. This approach mirrors the one used during the introduction of the iPad mini 7.

The M4 MacBook Pro models are not expected to undergo design changes. Apple will primarily highlight its new processors. The new MacBook Pro models will include M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips to enhance computational and graphics performance.

The new Mac mini is anticipated to receive a significant design update, making it more compact compared to current models. It is also expected to offer better performance by being equipped with M4 and M4 Pro chips.

Lastly, the new 24-inch iMac with the M4 chip is expected to retain the design of current models. It is anticipated to offer only a single chip configuration. Additionally, Apple is expected to release new software updates on the same day, including iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, macOS Sequoia 15.1, tvOS 18.1, and visionOS 2.1.
