Coca-Cola İçecek's Soft Drink and PET Bottle Production Capacity Expansion Project Gets 'No Environmental Impact Assessment Required' Decision
Foreks - Coca-Cola (IS:CCOLA) has received a decision stating that an 'Environmental Impact Assessment is Not Required' for the planned capacity increase project related to the production of non-alcoholic beverages and PET bottles by Coca-Cola İçecek.
In a statement published on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permission and Supervision, the following information was provided: "The PTD File submitted to our Ministry regarding the planned CAPACITY INCREASE project for NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES (FRUIT DRINKS, JUICES, NECTARS, COLD TEA, etc.) AND PET BOTTLE PRODUCTION by COCA-COLA İÇECEK A.Ş. MERSIN BRANCH, located at Umut Street, No:1/B (parcel number 10827, 76,076.12 m²) in the ANADOLU Neighborhood of the AKDENİZ district of MERSIN Province has been examined and evaluated. In accordance with Article 17 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation, the Mersin Governorate has determined that an 'Environmental Impact Assessment is Not Required' for the CAPACITY INCREASE project for NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES (FRUIT DRINKS, JUICES, NECTARS, COLD TEA, etc.) AND PET BOTTLE PRODUCTION."
