Malaysia's Rubber Production and Exports Decline
In Malaysia, the world's largest natural rubber producer, production saw a decline in September compared to the previous month. According to data released by the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), rubber production in September decreased by 13.9% month-on-month, falling to 30,929 tons from 35,908 tons in the previous month.
Rubber exports also fell by 30.6% on a monthly basis, decreasing from 57,482 tons to 39,915 tons. China's share of exports accounted for 32.1%, while the UAE and Germany held shares of 15.6% and 11.7%, respectively, placing them in the top three.
Consequently, stocks declined by 1.6%, reducing from 132,755 tons to 130,608 tons.
