Public Consultation Launched for Enerjisa's 19 May Wind Power Project with Storage

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report regarding the 19 Mayıs Energy Storage Wind Farm project planned by Enerjisa has been opened for public review. According to the announcement made on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permission and Inspection, the following information was provided:

"The Environmental Impact Assessment process has begun for the 19 MAYIS ENERGY STORAGE WIND POWER PLANT (37 Turbines 251.6 MWm / 180 MWe / 180 MWh EDT) project planned by ENERJİSA Elektrik Enerjisi Toptan Satış A.Ş. within the borders of AMASYA Province, MERKEZ, SULUOVA, TAŞOVA districts, and the EIA Application File has been opened for public opinion. A Public Participation Meeting will be held on 04/12/2024 in accordance with Article 9 of the EIA Regulation to inform the public about the project and gather their opinions and suggestions. Those wishing to review the EIA Application File can do so at the Ministry Headquarters or the AMASYA Provincial Directorates of Environment and Urbanization from the announcement date onwards, and they can submit their opinions to the Ministry or the Governorship within the scheduled timeline regarding the project. Information about the time and location of the Public Participation Meeting can be obtained from the General Directorate of EIA Permission and Inspection and the AMASYA Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change."
