TANKER REPORT - 40 Tankers Identified at Black Sea Ports
In the Black Sea ports, there are a total of 40 tankers that are the first stage in delivering oil coming to the region to the world via the Istanbul and Çanakkale straits. According to a summary from a report prepared by Tribeca Shipping Services and shared via email, 20 of the tankers are aframax, 18 are suezmax, and 2 are panamax type. When considering the tankers that have not yet docked at the ports, the total number of tankers in the Black Sea is noted to be 53. The ports in the Black Sea where tankers dock include Russia's Novorossiysk, Taman, Kavkaz, and Tuapse, as well as Georgia's Supsa. Of these, 32 tankers have docked at Novorossiysk, 4 at Taman, 3 at Kavkaz, and 1 at Tuapse. There are no tankers at Supsa.
