Lightning: Two Agreements Signed with the Islamic Development Bank Worth a Total of $370 Million

Forex - The Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mehmet Şimşek, announced that two agreements totaling 370 million dollars were signed with the Islamic Development Bank to address the financing needs of exporters affected by the earthquake and to modernize the railway infrastructure.

The statement said: "We met with the President of the Islamic Development Bank, Mr. Muhammad Al Jasser, at our Ministry. We signed two agreements totaling 370 million dollars for the financing needs of earthquake-affected exporters and the modernization of our railway infrastructure. Our cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank Group will continue within the framework of 6.3 billion dollars in financing during the 2024-2026 period."
