Russia and China to develop economic cooperation by 2030
Following their meeting in Moscow, Putin and Xi signed an eight-article statement on the development of important areas of Russian-Chinese economic cooperation. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping signed a joint statement following their meeting in Moscow. The joint statement, published on the Kremlin’s website, recalled that a detailed exchange of views was held on the development of bilateral cooperation, comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction in a new era of Russian-Chinese relations. The statement recalled that the two countries will strictly adhere to the principles of mutually beneficial and long-term sovereign development, mutual respect and equality. The eight-article statement on the development of important areas of Russian-Chinese economic cooperation until 2030 emphasized the increase in e-commerce and other innovative tools between the two countries, and the development of the interconnected logistics system.
