Tencent Holdings, the world's largest video game company, reported an 8% increase in third-quarter revenue, matching average analyst expectations. This increase, reported on Wednesday, is attributed to the company's gaming division, which has recently launched new games.
For the quarter ending September 30, the reported revenue was 167.19 billion yuan, equivalent to approximately $23.14 billion. This performance aligns with the average analyst forecast of 167.8 billion yuan, according to data from the London Stock Exchange Group. At the same time, Tencent, which also operates the popular WeChat messaging platform, continues to maintain its dominant position in the technology and gaming industries.
