Vestel Mobility Showcases Its Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at the EV Charge Show
Foreks - Vestel (IS:VESTL) has established a new company, Vestel Mobility, aiming to be a strategic player in the global mobility market. The company showcased its electric vehicle charging stations at the international e-mobility fair, EV Charge Show, held in Istanbul.
Recently increasing its activities in the mobility market, Vestel is participating in the EV Charge Show, one of the leading international events in the e-mobility sector. Vestel Mobility has secured a 120 square meter booth at the event, which took place from November 13-15 at the Istanbul Fair Center, where it is exhibiting its products and technologies in the electric vehicle charging stations sector.
Hakan Kutlu, General Manager of Vestel Mobility, emphasized that the company has been investing in the mobility market for many years, expecting exponential growth in the future. He stated, “At Vestel, we are transferring our deep knowledge in consumer electronics, combined with our strong capabilities in software, hardware, and design, to the mobility sector. This expertise empowers us to develop sustainable, renewable, and smart solutions. It is critical for us to participate in such significant fairs with our wide-capacity mobility products and solutions, which have just emerged on the agenda of even world-class companies. In the upcoming period, we aim to contribute to a smart and environmentally friendly world by responding to future needs with our mobility solutions while becoming a strategic player in the global mobility market.”
'Charging European Electric Vehicles with Vestel' Hakan Kutlu noted that with the electric charging stations produced by Vestel, over 250,000 charging socket installations have been made in nearly 30 countries in Turkey and Europe. Kutlu mentioned, "Vestel started the production of the AC series for home and small businesses in 2017. Today, we have fast charging stations including 60kW, 120kW, and 180kW for ultra-fast charging applications, as well as a stronger DC series providing outputs of 240kW, 400kW, and 720kW. With our DC products, we significantly reduce waiting times in public metered parking lots and electric fleet depots, offering charging durations between 10 to 45 minutes. This year, we also launched our very fast charging station with a power output of 720kW, and our current goal is to release EVCs with 1MW power output by 2025. Our new EVCs will serve not only passenger models but also electric fleet vehicles used in public transportation," he said.
Harnessing Local Production Power Across 30 European Countries With a broad product range featuring different power options, Vestel meets needs across various sectors while providing a robust infrastructure for future technologies. Emphasizing that all their products are manufactured in Turkey, Hakan Kutlu stated, “Thanks to Vestel's extensive sales and service network, we can provide pre- and post-sales support in all 81 provinces of Turkey. This allows us to quickly respond to the energy needs of all our customers requiring AC/DC products in our country. Moreover, we have a vast service area with AC/DC type EVCs produced in compliance with regulations in leading European countries. We deliver our products to many regions both in our country and in Europe, further demonstrating our strong footprint.”
Storing Clean Energy with Vestel Technology Vestel Mobility provides innovative solutions in battery technologies, which are critical during the energy transition process, facilitating access to safe and uninterrupted energy. Through its energy storage systems developed for telecom, residential, commercial, and industrial applications, as well as solar and wind power plants, Vestel offers an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative. By reducing dependence on the grid, these systems allow users to maintain uninterrupted energy during power outages while helping them save 20-30% on energy costs.
Highlighting the rapid spread of storage solutions for renewable energy sources like solar and wind worldwide, Hakan Kutlu noted, "Many families, especially in European countries, are storing energy during the day through solar panels. This accumulated energy is used in homes during the evening. This eco-friendly solution also provides significant savings on energy costs. With this perspective, Vestel produces energy storage systems for residential, commercial/industrial, and renewable solar/wind energy plants. Vestel was the first to launch products in this field with capacities of 75kWh and 300kWh for both residential and collective use. This year, we will also launch 5MWh storage units for solar/wind energy plants."
